However the current generation of apps have poor pedagocial outcomes. Arti Languages set out to understand why and how app learning outcomes could be improved.
The fertile ground seemed to be at the interection of meaninful video games and new cognitive technology.
The followinng article describes the development process of a new linguistic app built in Unity3d.

As a team of 2, we had to find efficient and elegant ways of approaching this complex project. In the following examples, I'll explain my approach to different aspects of the project.
Gameplay Loop For World Exploration
We knew from the earliest greyboxing that each level would be based on grid-like 'cubic rooms', which a player would navigate by clicking/touching, the below devlog describes how I structured the code to build this simple behavior, aswell as how we built more complex behavior on this foundation.
